To set up your Canon printer on a Mac using ij.start.canon, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Canon Setup Website

• Open Safari (or any browser) on your Mac and visit ij.start.canon.

2. Download the Canon Printer Driver

• On the Canon setup page, enter your printer model, or select it from the list.
• Click on Download to get the correct driver for macOS.

3. Install the Printer Driver

• Once downloaded, open the installer file (usually in your Downloads folder).
• Follow the on-screen instructions to start the installation process.

4. Connect the Printer

• For Wi-Fi Connection: During installation, select Wireless LAN Connection. Follow the prompts to connect your printer to Wi-Fi, ensuring it’s on the same network as your Mac.
• For USB Connection: Connect the printer directly to your Mac via a USB cable when prompted.

5. Complete the Setup

• Once installation is complete, your Mac should recognize the printer.
